Training

Firefighter safety is the top priority for the fire department.  A huge part of ensuring they are safe is providing correct and updated training.  We need to train to minimum standard set by the Office of the Fire Commissioner.  This training requires a few weekends or additional evening sessions but the majority of the training will occur during fire practice nights.  Many of our members are certified with their NFPA 1001.
